I fully accept and love being bisexual. But have no bestfriend or lover to talk to. I live in a small conservative town and would most likely be either threatened or cast out if I was "out " to everyone but my absolute closest family. I AM GAY! but I feel alone and squashed by ignorant misconceptions that others hold. Any ideas or support is greatly appreciated.

`I know just what you mean, I have been bi all my life but did not let anyone know about it because of the stigma around it and later for the sake of my three kids.I finally "came out" at 47 years old and now my son will not have anything to do with me my oldest daughter just started talking to me again after 6 years and about half of the rest of my family. ie: brothers cousins etc and the like. My suggestion to you would be to find someone to love you as you are, not how they want you to be and be with that person or persons. then you can either tell the rest of your friends and family or just the ones you trust the most. Its what I did and now we are looking for another bi person " male or female or maybe both ) " (He is bi to) But we are looking for long term so its a little harder to find because most ppl just want to play. We wish you the very best of luck in however you choose to proceed! Have a wonderful day lovebeinbi. Scherry and her Micky

I understand a lot of what you are going through. Though I walked a different path I can understand your feelings. It is not easy seeing the world differently than others. Things that seem natural to you just don't match for everyone. All I can say is although I am not old and don't know everything I will help however i can from what happened to me. PS i grew up in a small town too. A dairy farm to be exact.
